Extreme Driven Partridge

At Bodfuan Shoot we offer "Extreme Driven Partridge Shooting" by the day for single guns and teams of six to ten guns. Our partridge are not driven from cover crops or cages on flat land but from steep mountain sides similar to what you would expect in Spain.

Extreme driven partridge days are offered with full hospitality including light breakfast, elevenses and light bite in the field followed by a meal back at the lodge after the day's shooting. Expect from three to five drives in the day shooting 250 – 350 bird days all on our mountain side or steep gorse valley. We expect the shot ratio on our partridge to be 6 or 8 shots to 1 bird in the bag.

Transport is provided on our SCH purpose built guns trailer so 4 x 4's are not essential. Well behaved and trained dogs are welcome although we ask birds are not picked until the end of the drive unless dispatching is needed. We do provide a picking up team.

You will find our staff friendly, professional and welcoming. Bodfuan Shoot is a traditional formal shoot and guests are asked to dress accordingly.
