Driven PHEASANT
At Bodfuan Shoot we offer driven Pheasant Shooting by the day for single guns and teams of six to ten guns. Early in the season we have the option of offering you the chance of the odd Duck or Partridge. Later in the shooting season we often see a large amount of woodcock.
We offer strong sporting pheasants that are all below the earth's atmosphere. Driven days are offered with full hospitality including light breakfast, elevenses and light bite in the field followed by a meal back at the lodge after the day's shooting. Expect five or six drives in the day, the majority set in beautiful parkland that surrounds the country house of Plas Bodfuan. In most cases pegs are in the field and the guns are not expected to be snap shooting in the woods.
Transport is provided on our SCH purpose built guns trailer so 4 x 4's are not essential. Well behaved and trained dogs are welcome although we ask birds are not picked until the end of the drive unless dispatching is needed. We do provide a picking up team.
You will find our staff friendly, professional and welcoming. Bodfuan Shoot is a traditional formal shoot and guests are asked to dress accordingly.
